FotoTrim (hereinafter referred to as "this App") attaches great importance to the protection of user privacy, and strictly abides by the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, the Cybersecurity Law, and other relevant laws and regulations. This Privacy Policy is intended to clearly inform users of how we collect, use, store and protect user information, as well as the privacy rights that users are entitled to.
This Policy applies only to the FotoTrim App service, and does not apply to any third-party redirect links or third-party services. If you are under 18 years old, please read this Policy in the presence of your guardian.
1. Policy Overview
This App strictly abides by national laws and regulations, adheres to the principle of "minimum necessity" when collecting and using user information, insists that core image processing be completed on the local device, and prohibits any form of cloud upload of photos or background data extraction.
2. Permission Requests and Information Collection
To realize its core features, this App only requests necessary device permissions. It will never proactively collect, upload, or disclose user privacy information, and will never secretly obtain users' photos, videos, or personal data in the background.
2.1 Album / Storage Permission (Mandatory Functional Permission)
Purpose: Used to read images from the user's local album, and to enable photo preview, duplicate photo detection, album cleanup, image cropping, stitching, editing and saving processed images to the local device.
Explanation: All images are processed only locally on the user's device, and will not be uploaded to cloud servers. The user's original photos will not be stored. Processed images are saved only on the user's local device, and we have no access or retrieval rights.
2.2 Network Permission
Purpose: Used for version update detection, feature optimization statistics, compliance announcement display, and a small amount of compliant advertisement display (if any).
Explanation: The network only transmits basic anonymous device data, containing no personal privacy, photo, or identity information.
2.3 Anonymous Log Data
We will anonymously collect desensitized data such as app crash logs and feature usage frequency, used to optimize product experience and fix bugs. The data is fully anonymized throughout the process and cannot be associated with any specific user's personal information.
3. Information Usage and Storage Rules
Image Data: Zero cloud storage. All original photos, images being edited, and stitched output images of the user are retained only on the user's local device. Our servers do not save, back up, or obtain any user image materials.
Local Data: App cache and operation records are stored only on the user's device. Users can manually delete them at any time via the phone's system settings or the App's built-in cleanup function.
Storage Period: Local cache data is only temporarily retained during the period in which the user uses the service. After the user uninstalls the App or clears the cache, all local temporary data will be thoroughly deleted with no retained records.
All collected anonymous statistical data is used only for product optimization and will not be used for any other purposes.
4. Information Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure
No arbitrary sharing: We will not sell, share, or rent any of the user's personal information or image data to any third-party company, organization, or individual.
We may disclose user information in accordance with the law only under the following statutory circumstances, without the user's consent:
Where disclosure is required by lawful instructions from national laws and regulations, judicial authorities, or administrative authorities;
Where it is necessary to safeguard the personal safety of users, public safety, or major legitimate rights and interests;
Personal information publicly disclosed by the user themselves;
Other lawful circumstances as prescribed by law.
5. User Privacy Rights
Right to Know: Users may view this Privacy Policy at any time to understand the App's permissions and data usage rules.
Right to Control: Users may enable or disable the album, storage, and network permissions at any time in their phone's system settings, and independently take control of their personal data.
Right to Delete: Users may clear the App's cache, delete local operation records, and uninstall the App to remove all data at any time.
Right to Correction and Appeal: If users have any questions or objections regarding the use of their personal information, they may provide feedback through official channels.
6. Information Security Protection Measures
We adopt industry-standard encryption technologies and data isolation mechanisms to protect the security of app data and prevent data from being illegally accessed, tampered with, or leaked.
We have established a sound data management and security audit mechanism, strictly controlling data access permissions and eliminating the risk of internal data leakage.
We shall not bear corresponding liability for information leakage caused by factors beyond our control, such as the network environment or device vulnerabilities, but will actively assist users in defending their rights.
7. Protection of Minors' Privacy
We attach great importance to the privacy security of minors. If you are a minor under 18 years old, please use this service with the knowledge and consent of your guardian. We do not proactively collect minors' privacy information. If any relevant data is inadvertently collected, it will be deleted immediately.
8. Policy Updates
We will update this Privacy Policy from time to time in accordance with updates to laws and regulations and business adjustments. The updated policy will be publicized within the App and shall take effect upon publication. Users' continued use of the service shall be deemed as acceptance of the updated content.
